Good Things Must Someday Come to an End

- After owning Santino's Messengers for 19 years, this release
serves to inform the General Public that on July 2nd, Santino's
Messengers will perform their last public performance at the
Bellevue. It has been a wonderful experience for me, and Lucio
Enriquez, who has been with me from it's inception, as well as for
Kevin Lewis and Robert Smith, who joined shortly after. However,
we are all closing in on 50, and
now
have different GOALS in our lives, and so the time has come to
move on.
Furthermore, as nearly all Belizean
artists, DJ's included, will tell you, the entertainment industry
in Belize has really collapsed in the last year. It seems that
clubs, and people just don't have the disposable income to
patronize this industry with much frequency anymore. Furthermore,
their is practically ZERO support of the Arts, and Belizean
artists on a whole. This certainly helped to make this decision an
easier one.
We want to thank all those Belizeans
who were fans for any, some, or all of our 19 years together, and
hope that the memories of the Good Quality Sounds of Santino's
Messengers will remain with you for many years to come.
