 -the finale-
by: Janice Lane

There comes a time in every mans life when he must make a decision. Some decisions are difficult than others, but none the less a decision that must me made. Back in 1995, who would have known ten years later that one "fere foot buoy" from Hopkins, a name he now refers to himself, would be controlling the game. He has mastered all aspects of the punta culture with great precision and has done it all effortlessly. After releasing Jam96x, he was met with great criticism, yet he flourished. In the midst of all his misery, he stayed "fly"; he never let you see him frown, even smile when he’s down. They spread vicious rumors, attacked him verbally, threw shots at him thru song, still he rose from the ashes. He swore to be consistent. Drop albums summer after summer. His lyrical content matched my none, dealing with real issues, feeling his emotion thru every line for seven albums.

Now -the finale- is here and the orchestrator is the one, the only Aziatic. With this album, Aziatic is working overtime. Traveling to New York for the past year and a half recording his last record. Is Aziatic leaving the music business all together? This we do not know, but one thing is for sure, he is anxious to get out for now. -the finale- is a work of art. It’s Aziatic like we’ve never seen before. The musical aspect of the album is magnificent. With tracks produced by Spicekilla, Dither, Kidd, and Aziatic, it allows for variety witnessed only in classic albums. Though Aziatic has recorded close to thirty songs for the record, he plans only to put ten songs on the album.

Aziatic has been heard saying that he needs to leave the game in order to focus more on other Belizean artists. With so much project going on at Sta-tic, Stamina and Aziatic has set there sights on other things other than audio recordings. Though -the finale- is Aziatic’s last recording effort, by no means is it the last audio to come out of Sta-tic. Other artist will follow and Sta-tic will continue to grow.
